Abstract

The embodiments of the invention disclose edge device control methods, an edge device and a computer readable memory medium. A method comprises the following steps of judging whether each edge deviceis in a task lagging sate or not at a preset monitoring moment when a plurality of edge devices on a communication network process tasks according to respective initial frequencies; determining targetfrequencies required for the edge devices in the task lagging sates to finish processing the rest tasks within the rest task processing duration if the edge devices are in the task lagging sates; andcontrolling the edge devices in the task lagging sates to adjust the initial frequencies to the target frequencies, thereby processing the rest tasks. Task processing states of the edge devices are monitored, when the edge devices are in the task lagging sates, the frequencies of the edge devices are adjusted to the frequencies which can be used for finishing all tasks before a deadline, task lagging resulting from computing capability limitation of the edge devices is effectively avoided, and timeliness of processing the tasks by the edge devices is ensured.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of electronic technology, in particular to an edge device control method, an edge device and a computer-readable storage medium. Background technique [0002] In a data-rich future with billions of devices connected to the internet, faster and more reliable data processing will be critical. In recent years, the integrated and centralized nature of cloud computing has proven to be cost-effective and flexible, but the rise of the Internet of Things and mobile computing has brought considerable pressure on network bandwidth. In order to overcome the shortcomings of cloud computing with long delays , mobile edge computing technology came into being. [0003] Mobile Edge Computing (MEC, Mobile Edge Computing) was first proposed by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute in 1983. The MEC system allows devices to offload computing tasks to network edge nodes, such as base stations, wireless access point...
