Problems solved by technology

However, the direction and depth of Kirschner wire insertion mainly depend on the doctor's experience and repeated fluoroscopy. In general operations, Kirschner wires need to be withdrawn and reinserted several times, which increases the length of operation and the risk of surgery.

Abstract

Embodiments of the invention provide a positioning method and system for a bone cutting plane of high tibial osteotomy. The method includes the following steps: determining a reference plane of the upper end of a tibia in a three-dimensional model of lower limbs, and arranging an axis perpendicular to a normal position reference plane along a planned shaft point on the three-dimensional model of the lower limbs; translating the reference plane of the upper end of the tibia to make the reference plane of the upper end of the tibia pass through the shaft point, and rotating the reference plane of the upper end of the tibia with the axis as a rotation shaft to a target cutting position; and selecting a to-be-cut square area in the reference plane of the upper end of the tibia as the bone cutting plane of the three-dimensional model of the lower limbs. Embodiments of the positioning method and system strictly guarantee that the bone cutting plane passes through the planned and determined shaft point; the bone cutting plane is determined by rotating the reference plane of the upper end of the tibia along the axis, it can be ensured that in a process of bone expanding, two parts of a bone cutting surface only have deflection around the axis, and bones are prevented from being misaligned in other directions; and compared with the prior art, there is no need relying on doctor's experience and repeated fluoroscopy, and the operation duration and an operative risk are reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] Embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of medical technology, and more particularly, to a method and system for locating an osteotomy plane for high tibial osteotomy. Background technique [0002] In high tibial osteotomy, the osteotomy plane needs to be determined. In the prior art, doctors usually determine the osteotomy plane by placing two Kirschner wires. Specifically, during the operation, the doctor first determines an axis point according to the operation plan. The operation requires that the cutting plane and the axis point are coplanar, and the axis point itself is not in the area to be cut. In order to determine the osteotomy plane, the doctor places two Kirschner wires, and the plane where the two Kirschner wires are located is used as the osteotomy plane. In order to ensure the quality of the operation and the success rate of the operation, the two Kirschner wires must be parallel and point to the axis point. However, ...
