Abstract

The method comprises the following steps of: when data receiving equipment determines that the value of a first indicator carried by the data receiving equipment is different from the value of the first indicator in the previous data message, the data receiving equipment receives the datamessage; a judgment is determined that the data sending equipment sends the retransmission message of the lost data message; and when it is determined that the retransmission message is lost, a confirmation message of which the confirmation number is the serial number of the lost data message is sent to the data sending device with the value of a second indicator in the confirmation message beingdifferent from the value of a second indicator in a previous confirmation message sent by the data sending device so as to indicate that the retransmission message is lost. Due to the fact that the data receiving device can determine that the data sending device retransmits one data message and notify the data sending device when determining that the retransmitted data message is lost, the data sending device can retransmit the data message again, the number of times of triggering the RTO timer is reduced, and the communication efficiency is effectively improved.
