Abstract

The method comprises the following steps of collecting ship motion attitude data under the action of random waves;down-sampling the collected data in the case of satisfying the Nyquist sampling law to determine a sampling cycle; establishing an autoregressive model (AR model) by using a time series analysis method based on the processed motion attitude data; solving the coefficients of the model online by using the recursive algorithm of least squares estimation to reduce the system resources consumed by thealgorithm; ensuring that the established model is the optimal model according to the AIC criterion; and obtaining a predicted value of the ship motion attitude by using the calculated model coefficients and the current ship motion attitude data. Using the method and system, the ship motion trend is predicted and the active motion compensation is performed, thereby keeping the objects on the shipin a horizontal state.
