Abstract

A power connector system for electrically connecting a power source to a device is provided. The power connector includes a first component and a second component each having a plurality of electrical contacts disposed on a face thereof. Each contact includes a resistive element having an impedance. The logic unit controls enabling current flow between the first and second components based on the impedance when the first and second components are coupled.
