Abstract

The invention discloses a streaming media resource transmission method and system, and the method comprises the steps: receiving a processing request which is transmitted by a client and points to a target streaming media resource, and scheduling the processing request to a first process; forwarding the processing request to a second process in the hierarchy where the first process is located; constructing a response request corresponding to the processing request through the second process, wherein the response request comprises an access address which is generated by the second process and is used for accessing the target streaming media resource; and feeding back the response request to the first process, and feeding back the response request to the client through the first process, sothat connection is established between the client and the second process, and the target streaming media resource is transmitted through the established connection. According to the technical scheme provided by the invention, the transmission efficiency of streaming media resources can be improved.
