The gypsum-based mortar provided by the invention comprises the following components by weight: 30-40 parts of gypsum, 30-40 parts of diatomite, 0.5-3.0 parts of nanometer titanium dioxide, and 30-40 parts of fine aggregate. The gypsum-based mortar of the invention can not only improve the formaldehyde adsorption performance of the gypsum-based mortar in virtue of the hydration structure of a gypsum-based gelling material and the structure of diatomite, but also decompose the formaldehyde adsorbed bya porous structure, thereby maintaining long-lasting and long-acting adsorption performance.
