A transparent resin composition which contains a transparent resin and a light diffusing agent that has an average particle diameter of from 220 nm to 300 nm (inclusive). The transparent resin composition is configured such that the content ratio of the light diffusing agent is more than 4.0 ppm by mass but less than 20 ppm by mass relative to the total mass of the transparent resin composition.
