Abstract

An intelligent power module for an air conditioner and the air conditioner are provided. The intelligent power module comprises a low-voltage area power supply positive end, a low-voltage area power supply negative end, a high-voltage power supply positive end, a high-voltage power supply negative end, a PFC interface, a direct-current interface and an alternating-current interface, and comprisesa first HVIC tube used for driving the compressor to work; a plurality of second HVIC tubes in one-to-one correspondence with a plurality of fans, with each second HVIC tube being used for driving thecorresponding fan to work; a PFC circuit respectively connected with the high-voltage power supply positive end, the high-voltage power supply negative end, the PFC interface and a PFC control signaloutput end; and a rectifier. According to the intelligent power module, the first HVIC tube, the plurality of second HVIC tubes, the PFC circuit and the rectifier are integrated into a whole, so thatthe frequency conversion control of the compressor and the plurality of fans is realized, a packaging process flow of the IPM can be simplified, the equipment cost is saved, and the production efficiency is improved.
