Abstract

In a colloid, a refracted laser beam is displayed by utilizing a Tyndall effect of the colloid; and in a measured transparent solid and transparent liquid, the refracted laser beam is displayed through grazing of the refracted laser beam to a frosted observation surface. The reflected laser beam on the interface also passes through the artificial scattering surface and is displayed together with the incident beam at the same time. Based on the principle that the incidence angle is equal to the reflection angle, the angular bisector of the included angle between the incident light and the reflected light is the normal of the measured material and the air interface. Therefore, the incidence angles and the refraction angles of the colloid, the transparent solid and the transparent liquid are measured, and the refractive indexes of the colloid, the transparent solid and the transparent liquid are calculated according to the refraction angle law.
