Abstract

The machining method comprises the steps of: determining a self-adaptive milling track planof the outer profile of the split casing, determining an online measurement track plan of the outer profile of the split casing, and generating a machining program with a self-adaptive milling compensation variable through adopting a software post-processing method; and determining a self-adaptive milling cutter machining path plan. According to the machining method, a longitudinal reciprocatingmode of a tool path is changed into a longitudinal single mode, an original forward and reverse milling alternate milling mode is changed into a complete forward milling mode, the cutting stress condition of a tool in the machining process is improved, and the machining efficiency and the surface quality are improved. The machining method has the advantages that the economic benefit is remarkable,the milling efficiency is improved by 20% or above, the wall thickness size is qualified, and the surface quality is improved by one grade.
