Abstract

The invention discloses a cultivation method and device for safe wintering of alfalfa in high-altitude areas. The cultivation method for safe wintering of the alfalfa in the high-altitude areas specifically comprises the following steps: (1) separating out stripe-shaped fields with widths of 50-200 cm on the ground in which 0 to 2-year-old alfalfa at a seedling stage is planted when the temperature drops to 5-10 DEG C; (2) making field ridges with heights of 30-50 cm on two side edges of the stripe-shaped fields by carrying out turning-piling; and (3) covering the fields between two adjacent field ridges with films, and pressing edges of the films by using surrounding soil blocks. The cultivation method for safe wintering of the alfalfa in the high-altitude areas is simple in structure, convenient to use, and capable of effectively solving the problem of difficult wintering of 0 to 2-year-old alfalfa at a growing stage; and moreover, the cultivation method is beneficial to root development of the alfalfa, so that the situation of slow growth of the alfalfa in winter in pastoral areas in northern Tibet can be thoroughly solved.
