Abstract

The invention discloses a detection reagent and a rapid detection method for total nitrogen in water. The detection reagent comprises the following reagents: 4-6 volume parts of an alkali-containing digestion solution, 0.2-0.3 mass part of an oxidizing agent, 0.1-0.2 mass part of a reducing agent, 0.1-0.2 mass part of a color developing agent and 7-9 mass parts of an acid-containing color developing solution, wherein the color developing agent comprises disodium chromate, and the acid-containing color developing solution is concentrated sulfuric acid. The rapid detection method comprises the following steps of: 1) mixing a to-be-detected water sample with the alkali-containing digestion solution, then performing mixing with an oxidant, and carrying out digestion; and 2) mixing the digestion solution with a reducing agent, then adding the color developing agent, performing mixing, then conducting sampling, performing mixing with the acid-containing color developing solution for color developing, and determining the absorbance of the sample under a wavelength of 420nm to obtain the total nitrogen content of the to-be-detected water sample. The total nitrogen detection method disclosed by the invention is high in sensitivity, good in stability, simple and convenient to operate, economical and practical, can monitor the total nitrogen of water quality on site, and can be widely applied to rapid determination of ammonia nitrogen of various water.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of analytical chemistry, in particular to a detection reagent and a rapid detection method for water quality total nitrogen. Background technique [0002] Total nitrogen (TN) refers to the nitrogen content in soluble and suspended particles, including the sum of nitrogen in nitrite nitrogen, nitrate nitrogen, inorganic ammonium salts, dissolved ammonia and most organic nitrogen-containing compounds in water. The main sources of total nitrogen are nitrogen-containing organic matter in domestic sewage, excess nitrogen-containing fertilizers brought out of drainage after fertilization and irrigation in farmland, drainage from nitrogen-containing industries such as chemical fertilizer industry, printing and dyeing industry, and bio-fermentation industry. [0003] When the total nitrogen content in water is too high, it will cause eutrophication of water quality, overgrowth of algae, decrease of oxygen content in...
