Abstract

The invention discloses a method and device for checking and modifying BIOS options, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining a specific configuration strategy, and reading a BIOS option defaultvalue group corresponding to the specific configuration strategy from a nonvolatile random access memory of a BIOS; obtaining a current value group of the BIOS options and comparing the current valuegroup with the default value group of the BIOS options one by one to obtain a difference set comprising all the BIOS options of which the current values are different from the default value; generating independent areas in the BIOS configuration interface to display options of the difference set, corresponding default values and corresponding current values in a one-to-one correspondence mode, andallowing the current values to be modified in the independent areas. Effective non-default options in the BIOS can be quickly checked to locate potential improper configuration, and maintenance efficiency is improved.
