Abstract

The invention discloses a process for optimally extracting quercetin from perfoliote knotweed herb by using a Plackett-Burnman combined response surface method. According to the process, the extraction amount of quercetin in perfoliote knotweed herb is taken as an investigation index, and extraction research is performed by adopting the Plackett-Burnman combined response surface method, so the optimal extraction process for quercetin in perfoliote knotweed herb is obtained; i.e., the perfoliote knotweed herb is soaked in ethanol with a concentration of 59.92% and accounting for 25 times of thevolume of the perfoliote knotweed herb for 24 hours, and then reflux extraction is conducted for 3.4 hours twice; under the condition of the extraction process, the average extraction amount of quercetin is 0.34 mg/g. An extract prepared by optimizing the extraction process is high in antibacterial activity, the MIC of the extract to escherichia coli, staphylococcus aureus and salmonella is 3.12g/L, 6.24 g/L and 6.31 g/L respectively, and the MBC of the extract to escherichia coli, staphylococcus aureus and salmonella is 12.52 g/L, 24.08 g/L and 25.41 g/L respectively; and the quercetin canbe used for treating livestock and poultry bacterial diseases caused by escherichia coli, staphylococcus aureus and salmonella.
