The invention relates to a synthesis method of a low-sensitivity polycarboxylic acid mother liquor, which comprises the following steps: (1) solution preparation: preparing a kettle bottom solution byadding water into a reaction kettle, starting the reaction kettle, stirring, and adding a polycarboxylic acid macromonomer EPEG3000 and acrylic acid I, preparing a solution I by dissolving acrylic acid II, hydroxyethyl acrylate and methyl acrylate into water, and preparing a solution II by dissolving a reducing agent and a chain transfer agent into water; and (2) adding an oxidizing agent into the kettle bottom solution, uniformly stirring, starting to dropwise add the solution II at a constant speed, dropwise adding the solution I after 0-5 minutes, and controlling the time when the solutionII is completely dropwise added to be 10-30 minutes later than the time when the solution I is completely dropwise added, performing curing for 30-90min, releasing cooling water for cooling in the reaction process to control the temperature to be lower than 30 DEG C, adding alkali for adjusting, and uniformly mixing to obtain the low-sensitivity polycarboxylic acid mother liquor.
