Abstract

The invention discloses an improved L-shaped array design method based on sum-difference cooperative array construction. According to the invention, sparse arrangement design is carried out on a traditional L-shaped array; a covariance recovery algorithm is utilized to be equivalent to a sum-difference cooperative array with a large-range continuous section for array direction finding, and the implementation steps are as follows: calculating array element spacing basic units, determining the array element number and the array element positions of an L-shaped array, and moving the array elements at selected positions to corresponding positions which are symmetrical by taking an original point as a center. Under the condition of the same array element number, the degree of freedom of the array can be effectively increased, the estimation precision of the direction of arrival is improved, the space target detection capability is improved, and the array operation cost is reduced.
