Abstract

The invention discloses a CFD-based optimization method for cleaning of an automobile engine cylinder cover. Geometric characteristics of an engine cylinder cover are collected, a three-dimensional model of the cylinder cover is established, simulation parameters and boundary conditions are set through calculation area setting and mesh generation, and internal flow field distribution, the fluid speed in a water jacket and the pressure of a drainage basin are obtained through simulation calculation when the cylinder cover is cleaned; and an optimized cleaning strategy is obtained by changing aninlet, a plugging opening, an outlet and different combination modes of the fluid when the cylinder sleeve is cleaned, repeating simulation calculation and taking the fluid speed and the drainage basin pressure of the key dead angle of the inner cavity of the water jacket as optimization result constraint conditions. The cleanliness of the water jacket of the cylinder cover can be remarkably improved, chips left in the water jacket are reduced, the cleanliness of the water jacket meets the requirements of a production line, the cleaning cost of the cylinder sleeve is reduced, and the cleaningperiod of the cylinder sleeve is shortened.
