[0024] exist figure 1 A carriage 10 according to the invention is shown in cross-section. The cabin 10 includes a body 12 that defines an interior volume 14 . The carriage 10 is in particular a double-deck railway vehicle, such as a high-speed train or a tram.

[0025] As a variant (not shown), the body 10 is the body of a double-decker road vehicle, such as an articulated vehicle.

[0026] The wagon 10 is described with respect to the longitudinal direction X-X extending along the normal direction of travel of the wagon 10, the transverse direction Y-Y perpendicular to the longitudinal direction X-X and horizontal under normal running conditions of the wagon 10, and the normal direction of travel of the wagon 10. Under driving conditions, it is the vertical elevation direction Z-Z.

[0027] The body 12 includes side walls 15a, 15b and upper and lower walls that define an interior space 14 therebetween.

Abstract

The invention relates to a multi-level car with staggered floors. The car (10) comprises a lower layer (16) and an upper layer (18) separated by an intermediate floor (20), the intermediate floor comprising a lower portion (28), a higher portion (30) and a transition portion (32). The lower layer (16) comprises a lower aisle (24) for passage of passengers, which extends at a higher portion (30) ofthe floor (20), and the upper layer (18) comprises an upper aisle (26) for passage of passengers, which extends on a lower portion (28) of the floor (20). Each of the lower layer (16) and the upper layer (18) includes a seat (22) at a lower portion (28) of the floor (20) and a seat (22) at a higher portion (30) of the floor (20).

Description

【Technical field】 [0001] The invention relates to a multi-storey carriage comprising a lower level and an upper level separated by an intermediate floor comprising a lower section, an upper section and a transition section, [0002] The lower portion and the upper portion each extend between the transition portion and a respective side wall of the carriage and have respective heights that differ from one another in the direction of elevation. 【Background technique】 [0003] It is known to employ double-decker carriages, especially for rail or road vehicles intended to transport passengers, in order to increase the number of places available for the same footprint. [0004] Dividing the interior space of the car into two superimposed levels results in height constraints below the roof in each of the two levels. This limited height is not necessarily uncomfortable for the occupant in the seat, but may be uncomfortable for persons traveling in the aisle, especially tall person...
