Abstract

The invention provides a narrow-band terahertz non-reciprocal wave absorber based on a sandwich structure. The wave absorber comprises a plurality of wave absorbing units which are periodically arranged; and each wave absorbing unit is a unidirectional wave absorbing unit in the shape of a sandwich structure. Each wave absorbing unit comprises a first conductor structure, a wave absorbing dielectric layer and a second conductor structure which are sequentially stacked in a wave absorbing direction. The first conductor structure and the second conductor structure which are arranged in the waveabsorbing direction form a terahertz wave resonance coupling structure; when terahertz waves enter the wave absorbing unit in the wave absorbing direction, the terahertz waves oscillate and are reflected back and forth between the first conductor structure and the second conductor structure, and the wave absorbing dielectric layer absorbs the terahertz waves between the first conductor structure and the second conductor structure. The terahertz wave absorber solves the problem of polarization stability of an existing terahertz wave absorber, and has nonreciprocity for incident terahertz waves.
