Abstract

The invention discloses a detection method and application of goat PPP3CA gene InDel marker. The genotype of the InDel site at position NC_030813.1:g.16472‑16491 of the goat PPP3CA gene was identified by PCR amplification and agarose gel electrophoresis using the whole genome DNA of the goat to be tested as a template. According to the correlation analysis results of different genotypes of InDel locus of PPP3CA gene and litter size of northern Shaanxi white cashmere goats, it was determined that the genotype of InDel locus of PPP3CA gene could be used as a DNA marker to increase litter size of goats. The invention quickly and accurately detects InDel markers closely related to goat litter size, can quickly establish goat dominant genetic resource groups, thereby accelerating the marker-assisted selection breeding process of goat reproductive traits.
