To-be-detected goat whole-genome DNA is taken as a template, and genotypes of InDel sites in NC_030816.1:g.110266-110278 positions of a goat AKAP12 gene are identified through PCR amplification and agarose gel electrophoresis. According to an association analysis result of the goat AKAP12 gene InDel sites and body length of Northern Shaanxi white cashmere goats, the genotypes of the AKAP12 gene InDel sites are determined to be taken as DNA markers for increasing goat body length. By rapid and accurate detection for the InDel sites closely related to goat body length characters, a goat dominant genetic resource group can be rapidly established, so that a marker assisted selection breeding process of the goat growth characters is accelerated.
