A polarizing film defect detection system disclosed by the present invention comprises a detection unit, a transmission unit and an analysis unit. The transmission unit comprises a driving roller anda driven roller, and a polarizing film is tensioned between the driving roller and the driven roller and is driven by the driving roller to move. The detection unit comprises a camera unit, an illumination unit and a shading fence, the camera unit and the illumination unit are arranged on the two sides of the polarizing film, and the shading fence is arranged between the illumination unit and thepolarizing film.
