Abstract

The thrombus extraction stent comprises rigid units and flexible units which are alternately connected. Each rigid unit and each flexible unit are of a tubular structure which can be compressed and expanded in the radial direction. When the same axial force is applied, the flexibleunits are easier to axially compress compared with the rigid units. When the flexible units are axially compressed, the radial sizes of the flexible units are synchronously increased; and the maximumradial size of the axially compressed flexible units can be greater than the radial size of the rigid units. The rigid units are used for supporting, a blood flow channel can be rapidly established when the stent is unfolded, and the pre-dredging function is achieved. When the flexible units are compressed in the axial direction, interval spaces surrounding the rigid units can be formed between the adjacent flexible units, thrombus located in the interval spaces are not cut by the thrombus extraction stent, the integrity of the thrombus is kept, the risk of thrombus disengagement is reduced inthe withdrawing process, the thrombus taking-out success rate is increased, and the thrombus capturing capacity is further improved.
