The method comprises steps of a real-time Chinese wolfberry plant image being acquired; performing image segmentation on Chinese wolfberry fruits in the real-time Chinese wolfberry plant image through a preset segmentation algorithm to obtain a Chinese wolfberry region; and extracting a single fruit area in the Chinese wolfberry area so as to identify a single fruit and pick up the single fruit. By adopting the fruit recognition method of theChinese wolfberry picking robot, Chinese wolfberry fruits can be accurately recognized and positioned, recognition precision and picking efficiency of the Chinese wolfberry picking robot are improved,and meanwhile robustness of fruit recognition of the Chinese wolfberry picking robot is improved.
