The layout methodcomprises the following steps that 1) a cable end of a cable winding and unwinding vehicle is connected with a three-way conversion joint on a detection robot; 2) the detection robot enters the box culvert; 3) a power supply and other devices on the detection robot are started through a ground control station; 4) the ground control station controls the detection robot to walk in the box culvert ashore and acquires images in the box culvert; 5) the detection robot collects images and data and feeds back the images and data to the ground control station; 6) an operator pulls the detection robotout of the box culvert through the ground control station; (7) the detection robot is pulled out of a municipal wellhead, and the operator separates the cable end from the three-way conversion joint on the detection robot; and (8) the separated detection robot waits for detection of the next box culvert.
