Abstract

This disclosure relates to a smart tyre information system for verifying compatibility of a tyre with a vehicle. The system comprises of a transponder for transmitting a set of actual tyre informationto an electronic control unit for extracting the set of actual tyre information. Upon satisfying a set of parameters based on a comparison of the set of actual tyre information against a set of reference tyre information compatible with the vehicle, the electronic control unit determines whether a permission is granted to start an engine system.
