Abstract

The invention discloses a method for detecting and preventing malicious ransomware attacks, which is characterized by comprising a monitoring module, a changing module, a strategy module and a prevention module. The method further comprises the steps of monitoring registry activity, detecting malicious changes, enabling a changed file registry value to exceed a threshold value, creating a large virtual file at the position where an attacker encrypts file content, changing attributes of files which are not intruded, creating an intruded file list and a safe file list, and verifying the safe file list. According to the invention, malicious attacks of ransomware can be alleviated.
