Abstract

The algorithm comprises the following steps of: forming a monostatic MIMO array through employing a pair of single-row co-prime arrays as receiving and transmitting arrays; establishing a received signal model which has been subjected to after Doppler compensation and matched filtering, and performing covariance processing on received signals to obtain a covariance matrix; and solving a propagation operator by using the covariance matrix, constructing a noise subspace by using the propagation operator, carrying out orthogonalization processing on the noise subspace, and replacing a noise subspace in the MUSIC algorithm with the noise subspace subjected to orthogonalization processing to carry out orthogonal propagation operator spectral peak search. According to the algorithm provided by the invention, the transmitting and receiving arrays of an MIMO radar are arranged according to the rule of a co-prime array, so that the advantages of the co-prime array and the MIMO array are fully utilized; the DOF of the algorithm is greatly improved by utilizing the virtual array flow pattern matrix of the MIMO array; and the OPM algorithm avoids eigenvalue decomposition in the MUSIC algorithm.
