Abstract

According to the method, feature maps of different scales are used for detecting a fixture target, and the network structure of the SSD is improved in the aspects of network width and network depth. According to the method, the network width is increased mainly by combining an Inception structure; the network depth structure is optimized while the network depth is improved by adopting a residual structure; and a depth separable convolution and 1 * 1 convolution structure is used to reduce the model parameter quantity, improve the model structure and improve the model detection efficiency. The improved model is applied to detection of tunnel leaky cable fixture images, experimental results show that the average detection accuracy of the method reaches 86.6%, the detection speed reaches 26.6 fps, and the method has obvious advantages compared with an original SSD algorithm and a MobileNet SSD algorithm.
