Abstract

The invention relates to a power system inertia estimation method and device based on a new energy output proportion. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring parameters and system power flow historical data of each unit of a power grid, and determining key parameters and power flow key historical data of each unit of the power grid according to the parameters and the system power flow historical data; carrying out statistical processing on the key parameters, and acquiring correlation coefficients in combination with the power flow key historical data; obtaining an inertia range of a pre-started new energy unit containing virtual inertia; and according to the key parameters, the correlation coefficient and the virtual inertia range, estimating a system inertia range under different new energy output proportions by using the new energy output proportions and the total power generation amount. The method solves the problem that inertia is unknown when the system is in different new energy output proportions, and can realize the perspectiveness of inertia estimation when making a start-up mode decision for improving the overall new energy output proportion in the system or performing new energy installation planning on a certain region.
