Abstract

The safety protection method comprises the following steps: receiving a state detection signal for the converter; judging whether an IGBT single tube failure fault or a bridge arm cut-through fault occurs in the converter according to the state detection signal; if yes, sending a starting signal to each controllable switching device in the hard crowbar circuit, so that safety protection is carried out on the converter based on the energy absorption loop; and if not, maintaining the turn-off state of each controllable switching device.
