technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the manufacture of polyurethane (rigid or flexible) foams with reduced aldehyde emissions, and more particularly to polyurethane (PU) foams useful for interior trim parts of vehicles such as automobiles. Background technique [0002] Formaldehyde and acetaldehyde emissions can cause unpleasant odors and health-related problems. Methods for reducing formaldehyde emissions in polyurethane or polyurea compositions through the use of scavenger additives are known in the art.
