Abstract

The invention relates to an AKI prognosis prediction scoring system based on the blood sodium level of AKI patients. The system is established by the following method which comprises the following steps of: (1) selecting a modeling crowd, specifically, selecting an AKI patient group meeting a group entering standard; (2) collecting information, specifically, collecting the following information of the modeling crowd: demographic characteristics, past histories, renal function conditions before dialysis, and other factors such as ward types, infection and the number of injured important visceral organs; and (3) evaluating a predicting model, specifically, exploring the relationship between the blood sodium level and prognosis through Logistic regression, COX survival analysis and a generalized estimation equation model, and incorporating the blood sodium into a multi-factor logistic regression model in multi-factor analysis. The novel scoring system constructed through the method can be beneficial to predicting the prognosis condition of the AKI patients, increases the AKI treatment rate, and provides a basis for improving the prognosis of the AKI patients in a hospital. Meanwhile, the scoring system is simple, convenient, economical and easy to implement, and has a good clinical application prospect.
