Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a laser generator and a method for generating laser. The laser generator comprises a narrow pulse output module and a semiconductor laser module which are connected in sequence, wherein the narrow pulse output module is configured to expand a trigger signal into a first pulse signal and a second pulse signal when the trigger signal is received; wherein the first pulse signal and the second pulse signal are opposite in phase; the narrow pulse output module is further configured to perform delay processing on the first pulse signal relative to the second pulse signal, and perform logical operation on the second pulse signal and the delayed first pulse signal to obtain a target narrow pulse signal. The target narrow pulse signal is output to the semiconductor laser module; and the semiconductor laser module is configured to output narrow pulse laser according to the received target narrow pulse signal.
