The present application provides an image output method, an image sensor and applications thereof. The image output method includes: an input circuit performs a first photoelectric conversion on incident light during an EVS mode working period and generates a corresponding photocurrent, and during an APS mode working period, performs a second photoelectric conversion on the incident light and generates corresponding light electric charge; during the first photoelectric conversion process, the EVS circuit outputs the corresponding event signal according to the rate of change of the first voltage corresponding to the photocurrent; the APS circuit outputs the corresponding event signal according to the corresponding first photoelectric conversion process during the first photoelectric conversion process. Two voltages, output corresponding gray-scale signals; the control circuit outputs corresponding EVS images according to event signals, and outputs corresponding APS images according to gray-scale signals; wherein, a single APS mode operating period is between adjacent EVS mode operating periods.
