The data cleaning method specifically comprises a repeated data deletion technology and a semantic difference elimination technology. The repeated data deletion comprises the following specific steps of: (1) selecting the size of the granularity of a comparison data block; (2) using a FUSE library as a middle layer so as to discover a disk and a memory part which are modified in the process of creating and starting the virtual machine, then redirecting writing to a corresponding overlay file when a virtual disk or a memory snapshot is written every time, and indicating that the block is changed through a bitmap mark; (3) obtaining a list of the modified disk and memory blocks, and calculating the changed blocks by using an SHA algorithm to obtain hash values; (4) obtaining a group of block lists with the same change through a plurality of comparison methods; the semantic difference elimination technology comprises disk semantic difference and memory semantic difference.
