The invention relates to a method for feeding electrical power into an electrical supply network having a network voltage and a network frequency, and the electrical supply network comprises: a plurality of consumers for consuming electrical power in the electrical supply network; a plurality of generators for generating electrical power and feeding the electrical power into the electrical supply network, a feed-in guide being provided for guiding the feed-in, and the feed-in guide taking into account: a power flow specification, which forms a specification for a power flow in at least one network section of the electrical supply network; an energy provision presetting forming a presetting for providing a total amount of energy at at least one consumption point of the power supply network; and a stability specification, which specifies at least one stability criterion for the supply network, in which the feed guide selects or sets a main regulator for supporting the feed in dependence on the power flow specification, the energy provision specification and the stability specification.
