Abstract

The invention discloses an open-cell polylactic acid foam material and a preparation method thereof. The polylactic acid foam material with the open pore structure is prepared by adopting a supercritical carbon dioxide batch foaming method. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) melting and plasticizing polylactic acid granules above the melting point, and hot-pressing to form a sheet material with proper thickness; (2) cutting a polylactic acid sheet to a proper size, placing the polylactic acid sheet in a clamp, and limiting the foam growth direction of the polylactic acid sheet; (3) putting the polylactic acid sheet fixed by the clamp into a foaming kettle, and introducing supercritical fluid by adopting a high-pressure injection pump; (4) heating the foaming kettle, and fully saturating for a period of time when the temperature reaches a specified foaming temperature and the gas pressure reaches a set value, so that the gas is diffused into the polylactic acid matrix and reaches an equilibrium state; and (5) instantly opening a pressure release valve of the foaming kettle after the saturation is finished, breaking the equilibrium state of the system, and foaming the polylactic acid to obtain the bio-based polylactic acid open-cell foam material.
