Abstract

The present invention discloses a scroll compressor capable of significantly reducing the height of the scroll compressor when it is applied to devices such as refrigerators and air conditioners to effectively utilize the space of the devices. The present invention includes a compressor casing forming the outside; a crankcase fixed inside the compressor casing, wherein a bushing is formed at a central portion thereof and protrudes downward, and a bearing hole is formed at the center thereof; having a hollow shape and a stator fixed to the lower side of the crankcase; a rotor arranged to maintain a gap between an outer peripheral surface of the stator and an inner peripheral surface thereof; a crankshaft arranged to pass through a bearing hole and partially fixed to the rotor to rotate together with the rotor, wherein An eccentric pin is formed on an upper side thereof; a revolving volute connected to the eccentric pin; and a fixed volute fixed to an upper side of the crankcase to constitute a compression chamber together with the revolving volute.
