Embodiment Construction

[0050] See Examples below.

[0051] (1) Preparation of the extract

[0052] The fresh emblica purchased in the market was denucleated and pulverized, then added to industrial ethanol for reflux extraction for 4 hours, filtered while hot, and extracted 3 times to combine the filtrate. The extract was decompressed and the solvent was recovered to obtain the emblica extract.

[0053] (2) Add emblica extract to the shredded tobacco of cigarettes

[0054] Add the extract to shredded tobacco during the rolling process of shredded tobacco produced by cigarettes. The emblica extract added to the shredded tobacco accounts for 0.04% of the weight of the shredded tobacco. The specific method is firstly dissolving the above-mentioned extract of Amla emblica in ethanol, spraying the ethanol dissolved with the extract of Amla emblica evenly on shredded tobacco, and then the ethanol is evaporated. The shredded tobacco is rolled by a cigarette rolling machine to make test sample cigarettes...

Abstract

This invention relates to the application of crude plant extract in tobacco manufacture, using extract of offorange as free radical scavenger in tobacco smoking. The added material could be extract in mixed state of multi-component, and could also be one kind of separated extract or mixture of more than one kind. The tobacco could be cigarette, and could also be cigar or cut tobacco for tobacco pipe. If cigarette, the extract of offorange could be added into the cut tobacco or the filter tip. If the extract is added into the cut tobacco of cigarette, the process could be accomplished during cut tobacco throwing. The extract added into the cut tobacco takes a share of 0.02 to 0.06 percent in the weight of the cut tobacco. The invention has developed a new health care purpose for offorange, and opened up a new application domain. As free radical scavenger, the extract of offorange has obvious effect, and has good application prospects in developing safety tobacco of low toxicity and low free radical.

Description

Technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the application of plant natural extracts in the tobacco product manufacturing industry. Background technique [0002] People smoke the smoke produced by burning tobacco products, but there are free radicals of cytotoxic molecules in the smoke. These cytotoxic molecules induce cancer, especially lung cancer, in smokers. The development and production of safe tobacco products with low free radicals is an important research and development direction of the tobacco product industry in recent years. [0003] Amla emblica is the dry and mature fruit of Phyllanthus emblica L., a plant of Euphorbiaceae. The fresh fruit is brown to dark green, spherical or oblate, sweet, sour, astringent and cool in nature and taste, and can be used as medicine. Present artificial cultivation and wild emblica fruit are all used as food processing raw materials. The composition of Amla emblica extract is relatively complex, containing polysaccharide...
