Output end of the data acquisition unit (DAU) is connected to monitoring server. Output of the monitoring server is connected to monitoring display terminal. Data of each node and device obtained by the DAU are transferred to the monitoring server, where a series of processes is carried out. Finally, the processed results in modes of characters, graphs or images are displayed on the monitoring display terminal for users to inquire about and look through. When user customizes data items, output end of the DAU is connected to monitoring server; output of the monitoring server is connected to the DAU. Base on requirement of user on the monitoring display terminal, the monitoring server starts the DAU. The disclosed system monitors each resource information and state data in wide area network (WAN) and gridding environment, providing safe and reliable data transmission in WAN.
