Abstract

A harmful substance-processing apparatus capable of efficiently processing a harmful substance and preventing undecomposed harmful substance remaining in a heating container. A harmful substance-processing apparatus comprises a heating container having a heating chamber where an object to be processed containing a harmful substance is received, pressure-reducing means for reducing pressure by sucking air in the heating chamber of the heating container, and heating means for heating inside the heating chamber of the heating container. The heating container is formed in a hollow tube-like shape, and the heating means is provided with heating portions arranged along the length direction of the heating container, and a control portion for controlling the operational order of the heating portions. A vaporized harmful substance produced when the object to be processed is heated is prevented from adhering and remaining on a low temperature portion of the heating container.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a hazardous substance treatment device. [0002] Dioxin is a very toxic substance, not only has acute lethal toxicity and carcinogenicity in a very small amount, but also acts as an environmental hormone (endocrine disrupting chemical substance), and its profound influence on the reproductive ability of humans and animals has attracted attention. [0003] Dioxins are conventionally contained in PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyls), which are used in large quantities as electrical insulating oils for transformers and accumulators. In addition, in waste incineration facilities and the like, plastics (such as Polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene) or chlorinated organic chemicals (such as polyvinyl chloride) waste. [0004] In recent years, problems have arisen due to leakage of electrical insulating oil contained in transformers, electrical storage devices and their waste, and soil contamination by PCBs contained in electrical insu...
