Abstract

The system includes recognition module for data stream and character base for data stream. The character base for data stream includes multiple characters of network data streams. Based on characters of network data stream in character base for data stream, the recognition module for data stream identifies specific data stream. The invention also discloses relevant method for identifying network data stream. Through matching to characters of network data streams, the invention identifies application type of data stream.
