Problems solved by technology

[0043] However, in the above-mentioned installations, especially at high sheet speeds in the paper machine, there are cases where the air curtain does not necessarily cut off the surface airflow, but on the contrary greatly disturbs the surface airflow
[0044] In the above case the chemical is more violently entrained by the disturbed air flow and there is a danger that it will not be possible to apply the predetermined amount and create problems such as the aforementioned polymeric dripping

Embodiment 1

[0274] Example 1, Example 5 and Example 6 correspond to the case where only the spraying position of the antifouling agent according to the spraying and application method of the present invention was changed.

[0275] From its results, the following facts can be learned:

[0276] (1) The oil film is formed in the outer roll to which the antifouling agent is sprayed, and the oil is transferred to the outer roll downstream of it via the canvas, thereby effectively forming the oil film, and

[0277] (2) However, there are cases where the outer roll located on the upstream side of the outer roll to which the antifouling agent is sprayed is slightly contaminated with paper dust, resin, or the like.

[0278] Considering the reasons for the above items, item (1) can be easily understood from the principle of the method of spraying and applying the antifouling agent according to the present invention as described above.

[0279] In addition, it can be considered that item (2) is cau...

Abstract

A method for providing a canvas (A) for use in drying a paper material in a paper making machine with an anti-staining agent (T) through sprinkling, which comprises sprinkling the anti-staining agent (T) from a sprinkling nozzle (S) toward a portion (C) where the outer surface of the canvas (A) and an out-roll(B) start to contact with each other, to thereby attach the anti-staining agent (T) on the out-roll(B), and then transferring the anti-staining agent (T) to the canvas (A) via the out-roll(B); a sprinkling nozzle and a sliding sprinkle device for use in the method; and an anti-staining agent. The method allows a canvas of a paper making machine to be provided with a suitable amount of an anti-staining agent with reliability.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a method of spraying an antifouling agent on a canvas of a paper machine, a spray nozzle used therein, and an antifouling agent. Background technique [0002] In the manufacturing step of paper products (paper making step), the key step is to dry the paper (wet paper), and the quality of the paper product is greatly affected by whether it is well dried or not. [0003] Thus, the drying part (drying step) of the paper machine is in a very important part in the paper making process. [0004] In the drying section of a paper machine, the paper is usually dried by being wound on the surface of a plurality of heated drying rolls. [0005] In addition, in the case of using a plurality of drying rollers, a canvas is generally provided to press the paper against the surface of the drying roller from the outside of the paper, thereby improving drying efficiency. [0006] figure 1 is a schematic diagram showing one example of ...
