Embodiment Construction

[0028] In the exemplary embodiment shown, two operating modes of the simulation are shown: shifting of the work rolls in the exemplary embodiment of a rolling sequence of 85 steel strips (coils) and bending of the work rolls with different shifts. exist Figures 1 to 10 The middle abscissa marks the number or serial number of the steel strip (coil number).

[0029] exist figure 1 The ordinate indicates the strip width BB corresponding to the rolling program to be rolled, in figure 2 In the middle, the thickness BD of the finished steel strip is represented by the ordinate, expressed in mm. Up to approximately strip number 40, different strip widths BB and finished strip thicknesses BD are rolled, after which a constant strip width BB of approximately 1200 mm and a constant finished strip thickness BD of approximately 2.8 mm are produced steel belt.

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for rolling strips in the roll stand of a rolling mill, wherein the roll stand consists of two axially displaceable working rollers. The two axially displaceable working rollers are provided with a CVC-grinding or a similar contour and the curved profiles thereof are expressed in a third or higher-order polynom. Simultaneously, the invention is to homogenize the abrasion of the working rollers, while the handling of the working rollers is simple with large possibilities of adjusting the profile and flatness. For this purpose, the increased cyclic shifting of the working rollers is induced or forced by a cyclic variation of the setting values of the curve of the working cylinders from one strip to another in a predetermined part of the adjustment range thereof, wherein the combined action of the two adjustment systems (the bending of the working rollers and the shifting thereof) enables the parabolic effects of the two adjustment systems to supplement each other with a high approximation. The combined action of the bending of the working rollers and the shifting thereof is controlled online by a process model, while the cyclic variation of the working rollers occurs only within a permitted range. Within the range, the requirements on the quality parameters of strips can be met, such as flatness (parabolic effect or higher-order performances), strip profile quality and strip cross-section quality. In order to comply with the criterion, the cyclic shifting movement of the working rollers can be monitored and restricted online through the process model.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for rolling a steel strip in a rolling mill stand of a rolling mill train consisting of two axially displaceable work rolls with CVC-ground or similar profile, the curved profile of which can be expressed by a polynomial of third order or higher; also includes two backup rolls, if necessary with two intermediate rolls; and includes a work roll bending system, if necessary with an additional intermediate roll Bending systems in which work roll bending or work roll shifting are sometimes used as adjustment mechanisms for adjusting strip flatness and strip cross section. Alternatively or additionally, intermediate roll bending and intermediate roll shifting can be applied in the same way as work roll bending. Background technique [0002] When using conventional rolls, the strip flatness is set by suitable selection of the work roll crown (positive, negative or cylindrical) and the work roll curvature. The disadvantage ...
