This invention relates to the field of
medical device technology, specifically to an adaptive adjustment method for an intraoperative support pillow based on online detection of fatigue characteristics using
electromyography (EMG) signals. The method includes: collecting EMG signals from the patient in their initial resting state, using frequency-domain
muscle fatigue characteristics in the resting EMG signals as threshold
benchmark data; calculating the patient's longest single-position
holding time based on their age, weight, gender, and underlying medical parameters; developing a positioning adjustment plan based on the patient's underlying medical conditions, physical condition, and surgical procedure; collecting EMG signals using sensors on the intraoperative support pillow, monitoring
cervical spine posture parameters in real time via a posture measurement unit, preprocessing and extracting features from the EMG signals to detect
muscle fatigue characteristics; and adaptively adjusting the intraoperative support pillow based on
muscle fatigue characteristics,
cervical spine posture parameters, the longest single-position
holding time, the surgical stage, and the positioning adjustment plan. This invention reduces the risk of intraoperative complications.
