1 results about "Matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization" patented technology

In mass spectrometry, matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI) is an ionization technique that uses a laser energy absorbing matrix to create ions from large molecules with minimal fragmentation. It has been applied to the analysis of biomolecules (biopolymers such as DNA, proteins, peptides and sugars) and large organic molecules (such as polymers, dendrimers and other macromolecules), which tend to be fragile and fragment when ionized by more conventional ionization methods. It is similar in character to electrospray ionization (ESI) in that both techniques are relatively soft (low fragmentation) ways of obtaining ions of large molecules in the gas phase, though MALDI typically produces far fewer multi-charged ions.

The present application relates to a kind of nanometer carbon powder-ion type surfactant mixed matrix and its preparation method and application. The mixed matrix includes nanometer carbon powder and surfactant with the molar ratio of (400-600):1.The preparation method of the mixed matrix includes the following steps: according to molar ratio, nanometer carbon powder is dispersed with surfactant in pure water, ultrasonic oscillation, and mixed solution is obtained; After the mixed solution is stirred, centrifugal, and nanometer carbon powder-ion type surfactant mixed matrix solution is obtained. The mixed matrix is applied in matrix assisted laser desorption ionization mass spectrometry detection, specifically including the following steps: mixed matrix coating: take mixed matrix in spray gun, spray on target plate, and dry after spraying;Sample coating: the sample to be measured is coated on the target plate covered with mixed matrix coating, and positive ion mode mass spectrometry analysis is carried out after drying.Compared with prior art, the present application has the advantages of simple preparation, low cost, good stability, can effectively improve peak intensity and signal-to-noise ratio, etc.
