register data communication. The method comprises the following steps: receiving a user-input configuration parameter; constructing at least one register partition for each type of defined register, wherein the partition information of each register partition is encapsulated by a preset
data structure, and the register segment memory pointer of each register partition is bound to a
Modbus protocol table; generating a unified data table for providing a unified mapping relationship for
Modbus function code analysis and access based on the bound partition information; configuring a Modbus
function code; when a Modbus request is received, analyzing and routing the Modbus
function code and
logical address in the Modbus request to the corresponding register according to the unified data table to perform a read-write operation; and dynamically modifying the partition information of the register partition during the running process, and updating the unified data table based on the modified partition information. The register scale can be flexibly adjusted without deepening the underlying code, and the register dynamic adjustment capability based on the Modbus protocol is improved.
