A digital broadcasting transceiver for a portable computer is provided to view digital broadcasting programs using the portable computer and transmit / receive broadcasting signals by using antennas with high transmitting / receiving sensitivity. A digital broadcasting transceiver of a portable computer includes a case(30), a main board(34), a first antenna(50), and a second antenna(50'). The case has a shape fitted in a bay formed at one side of the main body of the portable computer. The main board is set inside the case and includes a chip for receiving digital broadcasting signals mounted thereon. The first antenna includes an antenna body and transmits / receives broadcasting signals. At least a part of the antenna body is placed inside the case and the first antenna is extended to the outside according to a user's operation. The second antenna is located inside the case and transmits / receives the broadcasting signals. The first and second antennas have high signal transmitting / receiving sensitivity.
